Baitadi incident: Maya's mobile phone was found

Dhangadhi: The mobile phone of 21-year-old Maya Luhar of Pancheshwar Rural Municipality-4 of Baitadi, who was strangled, has been found. The police, who have been investigating since the day of the incident, said that they have found the mobile phone of the deceased Maya.
 

Spokesman of the District Police Office Police Inspector Lokraj Joshi said that the mobile phone of the deceased was found in Pancheswar-4, an hour's walk from the place of the incident. He said that it will be easier to investigate through mobile phones and that things on mobile phones will be investigated in coordination with the police headquarters.
 

Similarly, the relatives of the deceased filed a complaint against the armed police constable Bharatram Koli, who lives in Shivnath Rural Municipality-4 Solpala, but he has not been caught yet. Police said that the accused is absconding and the search for him is going on.
 

The family claimed that it was Koli, who had been talking to Maya on the phone. The family of the deceased has alleged that Koli called Maya on her phone a few days ago and killed her.
 

Maya, who had gone to Kulau to sew clothes from home on Tuesday, was found strangled to death near Shivnath temple in Shivnath-6 on Wednesday. The police said that the post-mortem of her body was done and handed over to her relatives. Neha Luhar, who accompanied her, was found with injuries on her neck from a sharp weapon. She is being treated at Dadeldhura Hospital.
