14-year-old dies after being hit by a grader

Dhangadhi: A girl has died after being trampled by a grader in Dhangadhi. The deceased is Chetna Saund, a 14-year-old resident of Taranagar, studying in class 8 of Panchodaya High School in Hasanpur lost her life after being hit by a grader.

District Police Office Kailali said that the grader of Kalika Construction No. 1 K 975, which was being used for water pitching near Sub-Metropolitan City-5 Hasanpur Pipalchautara on Thursday, trampled the cyclist Saund while fixing the label.

Police said that the driver, 27-year-old Bimal Kumal, resident of Chitwan Bharatpur Metropolitan City-28, has been detained. Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Prakash Joshi, spokesperson of District Police Office Kailali, said that Saund's body was at the scene.
