29 km black sheeting work of Sahajpur-Bogtan road completed

Dhangadhi: Former Prime Minister KP Sharma Ali laid the foundation stone of Sahajpur-Bogtan road on 7th February 2075. Only 29 km progress has been seen in the four years since the 50 km black road work started.

Ashok Malla, Information Officer of Sahajpur-Bogtan Road Planning Office, said that the remaining roads will be completed within the current financial year. He said, "The work is continuing. Out of 50 km, 5 km of roads are yet to be constructed. It will end this year."

The 29 km black sheeting of Sahajpur-VPinagar-Bogtan road has been completed. In February 2075 BS, the contract for 50 km of road black paper was signed, but only 29 km of work was completed. It has been agreed to complete the road construction work in 36 months. But even after the completion of the road construction period, only 29 km of black sheet work has been completed.

The black sheet work is still to be done on the 29 to 36 km road area of Sahajpur-VPinagar-Bogtan road. Mall said that road widening from 36 to 45 km, construction of walls, sewers and sewers are going on. In 2044 BS, the track construction work of Sahajpur-VPinagar-Bogtan road was started.

An agreement was signed with PRL Kumar JV on 8th December 2018 to complete the 50 km road from Sahajpur in Kailali to Bogtan in Doti by June 2021. The government has taken a loan from Exim Bank of India for the construction of 50 km of roads costing Rs. 2 Arbas.
