Dhangadhi: The body of Narasimha Bista, who was found dead in Darchula, is still in the district hospital.The body of Bishta from Byans Rural Municipality 4 Dokat was found in a river near his house on 4th Mansir (the election day). 35-year-old Bisht, who had been missing since the night of November 19, was found dead the next day. Bishta's body was found with injuries.

It is suspected that Bista, who was running a hotel in Khalanga, was beaten to death by an unknown group. The body has been kept at District Hospital Khalanga for post-mortem. Bista's relatives are saying that they will not take the body from the hospital until the culprits are punished. Relatives have alleged that the workers of the ruling coalition killed Bishta. On November 20, when Bisht did not come to cast his vote, the locals found him dead. According to the locals, on the night of 19 November, the youth of the Nepali Congress and the Maoist Center reached the village of Bista.

That same night, the motorcycle of the former rural municipality president Dilipsingh Budhathoki was also set on fire. It is not clear who started the fire. According to District Police Office Darchula Chief DSP Tarkaraj Pandey, the incident is being investigated. He said that the nature of the body reveals that it's a murder. According to police sources, a team of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has also reached the spot to investigate the murder of Bista. The police have arrested some youths and started an investigation.
