Ghodagodhi municipality locked by members of CPN

Dhangadhi: Ghodaghodi municipality of Kailali has been locked. On Saturday, the Nepal Communist Party locked the municipality after accusing government employees of consuming alcohol in the government residence and causing vandalism.

The municipality was locked while the executive meeting was going on, the employees and public representatives were locked inside too. According to the members of the Nepal Communist Party the office was locked as the employees of the municipality were drinking in the government residence where a scuffle broke out amongst them. They indulged in vandalism in the government residence in a state of intoxication.

CPN have accused the municipality of not giving out tenders for gravel and sand ethically, but they have received money for it have directly indulged in corruption in the municipality.
