Baitadi vote count update
Dhangadhi: CPN-UML's Damodar Bhandari's lead as a member of the House of Representatives in Baitadi continues. Chief Electoral Officer Jayanand Paneru said that Bhandari received 4,637 votes when 9,971 votes were counted. Damodar is being followed by the common candidate of the alliance, Narendra Kunwar of the Maoist Center with 4,126 votes.
Similarly, when 10,236 votes were counted in Provincial Assembly Constituency No. 1, Surendra Pal of CPN-UML got 4,320 votes. Independent candidate Harimohan Bhandari, who is behind him, has got 2,943 votes.
Similarly, Congress is leading in state assembly constituency number 2. When 8,695 votes were counted, Shivraj Bhatta of Nepali Congress got 3,960 votes while Liladhar Bhatta of CPN-UML got 3,870 votes.
