Gun explosion in Bajhang

Dhangadhi: A loaded gun exploded in Bajhang last night. A loaded gun was fired in the forest of Jaya Prithvi Municipality 1 of the district a day before the election. District Police Office Bajhang has informed that a loaded gun went off in the forest of Kailas last night.

According to locals, gunshots were fired near the polling station at Narayan Secondary School at different times of the night at around 10:30, 8:00 and 9:15. On the other hand, the police said that they are looking for the shooter.

District administration office Bajhang had issued a notice on October 14 and asked them to hand over the weapons by October 5. However, during that period, only one person in the district surrendered their weapons.
