Earthquake damages 100 houses in Bajhang

Dhangadhi: 100 houses in Bajhang were damaged due to the earthquake that occurred at 8:12 last night. The 5.4 Richter scale earthquake which had its epicenter around Khaptadchanna rural municipality-6 Patadeval of the district has damaged 100 houses.

Baburam Aryal, chief district officer of Bajhang, said that about 100 houses across the rural municipality were cracked due to the earthquake and some houses were destroyed. Locals panicked on Saturday night after the earthquake. They stayed outside the house all night in fear.
