Dhangadhi: CPN-UML Politburo member Naradamuni Rana has said that the current alliance is trying to sell citizenship. Rana, who is also a candidate for the Member of the House of Representatives from Kailali Region No. 5, said this while addressing the election meetings within the Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan municipality.

He claims that CPN Maoist Center Chairman Prachanda and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's wife Arju Rana went to Delhi and made an agreement to sell citizenship.

Rana said, "The Citizenship Bill was brought after reaching an agreement with the Foreign Minister of Delhi to make him the Prime Minister and we will give citizenship to your citizens. And passed it amid the opposition of the common Nepali people. But because of a patriotic president, the bill was saved from being ratified.”

He also said that this coalition is ready to sell the country and its self-respect for the government post.
