Earthquake jolts Bajura 

Dhangadhi: An earthquake, measuring 4.1 on the Richter Scale, jolted the Bajura district on Thursday morning.  According to the National Seismological Centre, the earthquake occurred in Bajura as the epicenter. The National Seismological Centre confirmed that the earthquake was centered in the Kanda area of ​​the district. The epicenter was 3 km west of Kanda under Khaptad Chededah Rural Municipality of Bajura.

According to the center, the intensity of the earthquake that occurred at 5:13 am on Thursday measured 4.1 on the Richter Scale.

Earlier, 6 people died in Doti when a house collapsed due to the 6.6 magnitude earthquake on Wednesday morning centered on Khaptad National Park.
