Snowfall at Lekali in Darchula

Darchula: There was snowfall in the Lekali area of Darchula on Tuesday afternoon. The high altitude areas of Byas and Apihimal rural areas have become cold due to snowfall. Dan Singh Tinkari, a resident of Tinkar, said that the weather changed from the morning and there was snowfall in Tinkar, Changroo of Beas Rural Municipality-1 in the afternoon. Since the weather changed, the cold has increased since morning.

Similarly, Bishan Budhatoli, a resident of Apihimal Rural Municipality, said that there was snowfall in the higher parts of Apihimal Rural Municipality Ward No. 1, 2, 6. He said that there was snowfall in the upper parts of Ghusa, Ksheti, Siti and Khatti of the rural municipality.

Similarly, it has rained with hail in different places of the district. Locals said that the cold has increased due to snowfall and rain.
