Fugitive accused of rape in Kailali arrested after 16 years

Dhangadhi: The absconding accused in the rape case has been arrested in Kailali. Police arrested 49-year-old Prem Chaudhary, resident of Lamkichuha Municipality Ward No. 2, Ganeshpur in the district.

On 2063/10/25 BS he absconded and was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment by the order of Bardiya District Court dated 2068/03/09 BS. Police Office Lamki has said that he was arrested on 06/30/2079 BS from Ganeshpur. The police said that he was arrested and submitted to the district court in Kailali.
