Mechi to Dhangadhi in a wheelchair

Dhangadhi: With the message of love, peace and reconciliation, Sandesh Ramtel, who travelled in a wheelchair from Mechi bridge in Kakadavitta, has reached Dhangadhi. On Thursday, he reached Dhangadhi in Kailali after 23 days.

Ramtel, who lost both legs in a car accident 2 years ago, has started a world wheel cheer journey. After reaching Dhangadhi, he also met the mayor of the sub-metropolitan city, Gopal Hamal. Ramtel said that after starting the Wheel Cheer Yatra from his homeland, he will travel to 170 countries via India after Tihar.

He said that he will work for the rights of disabled children and will travel the world in a wheelchair, carrying the soil of Gautama Buddha and Pashupatinath listed in the World Heritage List, wishing for love, peace and harmony. He says, "Studied BA LLB, now 25 years old. Wishing for world peace, I have planned this kind of journey. All have promised to provide the necessary support. I am hopeful that the campaign of love, peace and reconciliation will be worthwhile after the mayor of Dhangadhi, Saap, said that he would give his best support." 

He said that the local Ramtel of Elam reached Dodharchandani across the Mahakali and passed through Dhangadhi, Godawari, Gauriganga, Ghodaghodi and asked all the municipal heads to emphasize on the rights and protection of disabled children.
