Ninglasheni festival being celebrated at Baitadi

Baitadi: The festival has started from today at the famous Ninglashaini Bhagwati temple in Baitadi. The festival has started from today in the temple located in Dasharathchand Municipality-2, Dehimadaun.

According to Mukhiya Man Bahadur Bohra, President of Ninglashaini Bhagwati Religious Services Committee, the procession has started with special puja on the occasion of Mahasaptami in the temple where daily worship has been held since its establishment.

Every year on Mahashtami there is a Jatra to Ninglashaini Bhagwati with sacrifice of goats and goats, so it has been a tradition to bring goats to the temple on the day of Saptami. On the day of Mahashtami, there is a pilgrimage to the temple with the sacrifice of bulls. On the day of Maha Ashtami, the largest number of animal sacrifices in Sudoorpahad is performed here.

Devotees from far and wide come to the pilgrimage to Ninglashaini Bhagwati Temple. There has been a popular belief that one's wishes will be fulfilled if one has a visit of Ninglashaini Bhagwati. Meanwhile, the Dehimadaun area has been declared a no-liquor area to complete the pilgrimage to the Ninglashaini Bhagwati temple in a peaceful and grand manner.
