Flood in Darchula: 10 people still missing

Darchula: As the flow of water in the Mahakali river has not reduced, there has been a problem in the search for missing persons in Mahakali Municipality and Naugada Rural Municipality of Darjula.

5 people died due to the flood and 10 people are missing. District Police Office Darchula Police Inspector Lokendra Singh said that there was a problem in the search operation as the water flow of Mahakali did not decrease. A joint team of Nepal Police, Armed Police and Nepali Army is engaged in the search operation.
