Dhangadhi: After the third wave of corona infection in the Far-West, the infection has started to rise again. According to the data from July 1st to the morning of the 20th, one person has died due to coronavirus and 61 people are actively infected. In this way, the covid infection has started to increase, there is concern that the past situation will repeat itself in the province.

There are signs that the provincial government, which has not been completely successful in controlling the corona virus from the first to the third wave, will be challenged again. In the past, the provincial government was unable to control the risk of infection spreading at the community level. Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development, Deepak Lamichhane, said that the state government is preparing for the control of Covid.

We have been doing regular work. We have given special emphasis on vaccination," he said. Focusing on the corona infection, the government of Sudurpaschim Province purchased 20 ventilators. The ventilators purchased for the various hospitals of the province have not been able to operate in all the districts even for two years. The hospital said that all the items of the two ventilator machines purchased for District Hospital Bajura have not arrived.

It is said that the equipment will be installed only after the goods arrive and then it will be operated. The hospital also lacks manpower to operate ventilators. Dr. Jagdish Joshi, director of Sudurpaschim Health Directorate, also said that there are some problems in Bajura. "There may be some problems in Bajura to operate ventilators," he said, "our preparations have been completed in other districts."
