Flood washed away four houses in Bajura, 23 people rescued

Dhangadhi: Four houses were washed away in Bajura due to incessant rain on Monday night. The house was swept away by the flood in the Budhiganga river of the district.

Four families have been displaced when their houses were swept away in Badimalika Municipality 2 Bhaunera. According to the police, the houses of locals Lakshmi Pandit and Chandraraj Pandit were completely washed away, while half of Ammaraj Pandit and Tarkaraj Pandit were washed away. Likewise, Nepal Police, Nepal Army Armed Police teams are deployed at the scene of the incident to rescue and move the displaced families to a safe place.

According to the police, 23 people of four families were rescued.
