3 people have been injured in a khukuri attack in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur: In Kanchanpur, 3 people have been injured in a khukuri attack. On Tuesday, 3 people were seriously injured in Punarbas Municipality-2 Amraiya.

Police said they have identified the injured people as 47-year-old Birsingh Rana of Amraiya, 38-year-old Madhu Mahata of Moti Basti and 45-year-old Dhanchara Rawat of Amraiya. It is said that Teke Sarki of Punarbas Municipality-2 Amraiya hit them with a khukuri.

Deputy Inspector of Police Tej Bahadur Khadka of Tribhuvanabasti District Police Office informed that Sarki was arrested along with Khukuri from Amraiya's suspension bridge. According to him, Sarki also hit his neck with the weapon. Police Deputy Inspector Khadka said that his mental condition is not well.

All the three have severe injuries on their head and chest. 2 of them are being treated at the local BN Polyclinic IBRD and Madhu Mahata was sent to Dhangadhi due to lack of blood, Dr. Sagar KC said.
