Dhangadhi: The CPN-U has claimed that it is led by the Far-Western Provincial Government. A leader said that the leadership of the Far West was being discussed at the meeting of the secretariat of the Unified Socialists held at the Yellow Pagoda Hotel in Kantipath.

He said that the main agenda of the forthcoming planning meeting was the Bagmati state government, current political environment and the party. According to the agreement, the CPN (Maoist) is under intense pressure to change the Chief Minister in Bagmati. Congress and UCPN (Maoist) have already collected signatures against Chief Minister Rajendra Pandey.

It is said that discussions are underway in the meeting on how to move forward after leaving Bagmati. Leaving Bagmati, the Socialists are going to claim the leadership of the Far-Western Provincial Government. "Necessary discussions are held about Bagmati Pradesh. If we have to leave, we will automatically claim the post of Chief Minister in the Far Western Province. Other than that, other options can also be considered.
