Most of the patients in Baitadi also started showing viral fever and scrub typhus

Dhangadhi: The number of viral fever patients has increased in Baitadi. Aheb Laxmi Guru, who works at the hospital's OPD, said that most of the patients who came to the district hospital for treatment had viral fever.

According to him, more than 100 patients with viral fever are coming to the hospital daily. More children are said to be suffering from viral fever. Another Aheb Dev Singh Rawal, who works at the District Hospital, Baitadi, said that he used to come for treatment of fever, headache, neck and limb pain.

He said that scrub typhus was also found in some of those who came for treatment. He said that scrub typhus was found in two people who reached the hospital for treatment only on Sunday. Due to the extreme heat in the human body due to climate change, drinking cold food while the body is still hot, the body is not able to adjust the temperature properly, causing infection and viral fever, health workers said.

Health workers have urged the patients suffering from viral fever to drink clean water, eat and pay special attention to hygiene.
