A woman dies after being hit by a bus in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: A woman has passed away after being hit by a bus in Kanchanpur. The deceased has been identified as Bimala Joshi, 28, of Bedkot Municipality-7. The bus (Na 4 Kha 8075) was heading towards Dhangadhi from Mahendranagar on Wednesday morning She was hit by a bus on the East-West Highway in Bedkot-7 while crossing the road.

The bus driver Rajendra Prasad Joshi, 40, of Bangaun in Bhimdatta Municipality has been taken under police custody, said Chief Police Inspector Umesh Chand of District Traffic Police Office, Kanchanpur.
