Demand to run Geta Medical College in Dotyali language

Kathmandu: In a meeting of the House of Representatives, MP Deepak Prakash Bhatta has demanded the immediate operation of Geta Medical College in Dotyali language, which is in vogue in the far western states. He drew the attention of the Prime Minister to transform Geta Medical College into a national medical university in the local language. He said that the locals have high expectations of Sher Bahadur Deuba as he has been the Prime Minister from the far western states many times.

MPs Dev Prasad Timilsina and Dharmashila Chapagain called on the government to resolve the issue of citizenship. Similarly, MP Dev Prasad Gurung demanded withdrawal of the price hike in petroleum products. MP Navina Lama also requested to control the rise in fuel prices.

MPs Dilla Sangraula, Thammaya Thapa, Dal Bahadur Rana, Damodar Bhandari, Nara Bahadur Dhami, Nawaraj Silval, Narad Muni Rana, Nirudevi Pal and Purna Kumari Subedi pointed out that the government should work on behalf of the country and the people.
