Health insurance program postponed by teaching hospital

Kathmandu: T.U. Teaching Hospital has postponed its health insurance program. The hospital issued a notice on Friday postponing the health insurance program.

The hospital has stated that the insurance program has been postponed as the government has not paid the amount for health insurance. A statement issued by the hospital said, "Since the Government of Nepal Health Insurance Board has not yet paid the amount due to the hospital for providing treatment services to the insured under the health insurance program operated at this hospital since December, 2020 (Mangshir/Poush 2077), health insurance until June 29, 2022 (Asar 15, 2079) until further notice. The program has been postponed."
