Six babies die of unknown disease in Bajhang

Bajhang: Six infants have lost their lives in one year due to an unknown disease in Bajhang. Infants have lost their lives in Bhandar village of Jaya Prithvi Municipality-1 due to a strange disease.

According to Mohan Bahadur Bista, a local, six people including the 3-month-old son of Lalita Rokaya, 1-month-old baby of Rekha Bista and 4-month-old baby of Suman Bista have died due to similar symptoms. According to him, the baby had strange symptoms like vomiting, urine and smell of petrol and diesel.

According to the District Hospital, Bajhang, the two children have been referred to Dhangadhi. After the infection in the infants could not be diagnosed in the district, they were sent to the district hospital in Dhangadhi, Dr. Milan Khadka said. Meanwhile, Chief of Health Office Bajhang Bhanubhakta Joshi said that the higher bodies have been informed about this.
