Three arrested for drugs in Dhangadhi 

Dhangadhi: Three people have been arrested in Dhangadhi along with heroin (brown sugar. Dab Bahadur Tamang, 42, of Purnabas Municipality-1 of Kanchanpur was arrested from near Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis-1 on Tuesday.

Police said that they found 30 grams of heroin in his possession. According to the District Police Office, Kailali, 35-year-old Kancho Tamang of Purnabas-1 was arrested from Trinagar Customs at Dhangadhi-2. 10 grams of heroin has been recovered from him.

Similarly, 28-year-old Anju Sarki of Purnabas-1 was arrested from Dhangadhi-3 Chauraha with Rs. 49,000 cash, said Kailali Police Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Ved Prakash Joshi. He said further investigation is underway. They were arrested on the basis of a tip-off that a group was active in the distribution of heroin.
