Appointing ministers for six consecutive months is fatal for democracy: Bhim Rawal
Kathmandu: CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal has remarked that doing politics for the sake of positional interests is fatal for democracy.
Aiming at the issue of manipulation of ministers by the CPN-Unified Socialists, he remarked that allying with parties of opposite ideology for the post was fatal for democracy.
On Monday, he wrote on Twitter, "It is very dangerous for the country, the people and democracy for some parties and leaders to be seen naked in the field to make certain people ministers for six months in a row and to ally themselves with parties of opposite ideology for position and power. The politics of selfless service to the country and the people should be seen in practice."
