Road blocked in Kimtadi, Darchula reopened

Darchula: A blocked highway has been reopened at Kimtadi Bhir on the banks of the Mahakali River near Khalanga, the district headquarters of Darchula. The road has been reopened by cutting across the blocked highway. Due to incessant rains since last Sunday, the road at Mahakali Municipality-5 Kimtadi on the Gokuleshwar-Khalanga road section under the Mahakali Highway was washed away.

According to the transport businessmen, the means of transportation were partially passed on Monday evening and the road has been fully operational since Tuesday. Police said that the vehicles started operating as soon as the road was opened
