Dhangadhi: Far-Western state assembly members who want to leave the CPN-UML and join the Madhav Nepal-led CPN (Unified Socialist) are preparing to be identified today. The state parliamentarians are busy preparing to reach the state election office by 5 pm today.

The ordinance on party division recently brought by the government has provided that the members of the state assembly and the people's representatives at the local level can choose the party formed from the division for 21 days.

The day of application for party registration was counted from 2 September. Sub-section 2 of Article 33 of the Party Registration Ordinance states, "If a separate party is formed, a member of the Provincial Assembly or a member of the local level elected on behalf of the party immediately before the formation of such party shall be deemed to have left the party within 21 days of its formation. No. ' The commission has also stated that the members of the state assembly who want to change their party should be identified at the election office in the concerned state and the district election office for the local level people's representatives.

Members of the Provincial Assembly have been told to carry the original citizenship or voter identity card and the certificate of election or the identity card or certificate issued by the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.

Similarly, full citizenship or voter identity card and certificate of election or identity card or certificate issued by the concerned local level has been made mandatory for the members of the local level.
