8% people returning from Baitadi's Julaghat checkpoint test positive for Coronavirus

Baitadi: Corona infection has been confirmed in 8 percent of the citizens returning from the Julaghat checkpoint of Baitadi bordering India.

A total of 1,200 people were examined for Coronavirus by antigen method from March 23 till Sunday and 98 people were confirmed infected. The health desk had come into operation at the border on March 23.

According to Dharma Bk, a health assistant working at the health desk, every person returning from India is examined for Coronavirus by the desk. According to him, 8 percent of the citizens returning from the checkpoint have been infected with Coronavirus.

He said that the citizen returning from India were sent to the destination only after testing. He said that those who reported positive were kept in isolation.
