10 people rescued including 9 from Kailali trapped in Mahakali river (with list)

Dhangadhi: Kanchanpur police have rescued 10 workers trapped in the Mahakali River.

Kanchanpur police on Friday rescued 10 workers trapped in the river due to continuous rains.

A team from Disaster Management Gulm Mahendranagar and Area Police Office Gadda Chowki under the command of Inspector Gyanendra Bahadur Singh of District Police Office Kanchanpur rescued the 10 trapped in the Mahakali River at Odali of Bhimdatta Municipality-12. According to Amar Thapa Chhetri, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Kanchanpur; Samsher Punmagar (40), Bishnu Punmagar (28), Dinesh Punmagar (28), Jeet Bahadur Punmagar (39), Ananda Punmagar (19), and Asa Bahadur BK (49) of Tikapur Municipality-6, Kailali. Gobind Rokkamagar (25), Valbir Ghartimagar (60), Omlal Magar (38), and Maniraj Joshi (40) of Bhimdatta Municipality-19 have been rescued.
