Isolation ward construction completed in Geta Mesical College

Dhangadhi : Isolation construction work has been completed in Geta of Kailali.

The isolation work has been completed in the building of Geta Medical College under construction for the treatment of Coronavirus patients. According to Kailali Assistant Chief District Officer Hiralal Chaudhary, the construction of washrooms, electricity, drinking water, beds and other structures has been completed.

The construction of the isolation was started in collaboration with the Far Western Provincial Government, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan Municipality and Godawari Municipality under the District Covid Crisis Management Center (DCCMC). However, delays in oxygen gas supply and manpower management have led to delays in starting services.

Mayor of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan Nripa Bahadur odd, who is also the coordinator of the Action Orientation Committee, said that they are preparing to start the service from Monday it they're unable  to arrange for  oxygen and manpower on Sunday. Stating that the gas is being managed from the indoor system, 300 cylinders are being managed for Geta. He also requested citizens to hand over the empty cylinders to them. 

Similarly, manpower has been managed from Dhangadhi and Godawari municipality for the initial phase, (14 days), he said. Mayor odd told Dinesh Khabar that he has requested other local levels of the district to provide manpower. Initially, isolation will be provided with100 beds. It is said that there is a plan to gradually expand from 500 to 2,000 beds.
