One crop one village

The twenty eight local bodies of Sudurpaschim have pledged to plant one crop in one village. By doing so they aim at increasing the overall production of crops. Sudurpaschim uniquely encompasses the tarai, hills and mountains with different climatic conditions in each of them. Sanphebagar municipality, Achham is likely to cultivate potatoes; while Bungal municipality, Bajhang has hired JTAs to make the farmers self-sufficient.
