A man found dead in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: A man's body has been found in Kanchanpur.

The body of a 45-year-old man was found on the north bank of the East-West Mahakali Irrigation Canal in Bhimdatta Municipality-5.

His body was found with both hands and knees bent in the water, while his head was on the ground of the canal, covered in mud, police said. The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed.

The body has been kept at Mahakali Hospital for autopsy and further investigation is underway, according to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur.
