Two vicinities of Ward No.5 sealed in Dhangadhi

Dhangadhi: Two vicinities of Ward No.5 have been sealed in Dhangadhi. According to Pratik Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police Kailali, Gyan Niketan and Jaai area of Ward no. 5 was sealed after the virus was detected in three houses in Gyan Niketan area and four houses in Jai area.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Bista said that the vicinity was sealed in the presence of the people's representative. Police have been patrolling to insure no movement of people aimlessly.

Public Health Inspector of Dhangadhi Laxmi Raj Upadhyaya told Dinesh Khabar that swabs were being collected from the sealed areas. According to him, the target is to collect 125 swabs from the area.

The number of infected people has reached 56 in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No. 5 alone.
