Five scrub typhus patients found in Darchula

Five scrub typhus patients have been found in Darchula. According to the district hospital, three women and two men were found to have scrub typhus. Patients with symptoms similar to scrub typhus were tested at the hospital.

According to the hospital, a man from Mahakali Municipality, two women and a man from Malikarjun Rural Municipality and a man from Vyans Rural Municipality have contracted scrub typhus.

One of them has been referred to Dhangadhi while, one has been admitted to the District Hospital. The condition of the other three is normal.
