40 new cases of Coronavirus in Far-west, including 15 in Kailali
Dhangadhi: Coronavirus has been confirmed in 40 more people in Far-West, including 15 in Kailali. Five hundred and eighty-five people were tested at the Seti Provincial Hospital laboratory on Sunday while, 40 tested positive.
According to Dilip Kumar Shrestha, information officer of the hospital, the virus was detected in 12 people from Turmakhad Rural Municipality of Achham, 10 people of Dhangadhi Municipality of Kailali and six people of Ramaroshan Rural Municipality of Achham.
Similarly, two people from Godawari Municipality of Kailali, two persons from Joshipur Municipality, one person from Kailari Municipality, five people from Bhim Dutta Municipality of Kanchanpur and two people from Bedkot Municipality also tested positive, said Information Officer Shrestha.
At the same time, the number of infected people in the Far West has reached 5,903 and 14 people have died.
