64 people test positive for Coronavirus on 29 August
Dhangadhi: Corona infection has been confirmed in 64 more people in Far-West on Saturday. Tests conducted at Seti Provincial Hospital and Dadeldhura Hospital confirmed the infection in 64 people in the far west. 739 people were examined at Seti Provincial Hospital and 15 people including three women and 12 men tested positive.
According to the hospital's information officer Dilip Kumar Shrestha, nine people from Achham and six from Kailali have been confirmed infected. He said that nine people, including a woman and eight men from Sanphebagar of Achham, four people including three men and a woman from Godawari Municipality of Kailali and a one woman from Dhangadhi tested positive. On the other hand, tests conducted at the laboratory of Dadeldhura Hospital have confirmed the virus in 49 more people from Far- West. On Saturday, 385 people were examined and 49 have been confirmed infected. Ishwori Prasad Bhushal, laboratory in-charge of the hospital, said that 26 people from Bajhang, 21 from Baitadi and two from Darchula were infected.
