A Ward Chairman arrested in Dhangadhi

A Ward Chairman of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan Ward No. 3 Bal Bahadur Air has been arrested. A team from the District Police Office, Kailali arrested him from Trinagar Naka in Kailali.

According to District Police Office, Kailali, Inspector Dan Bahadur Rokaya, Chairman Air was arrested after he started shouting after consuming alcohol. Yesterday, Ward Chairman Air had allowed Indian nationals with in-laws in Nepal to enter Dhangadhi through Trinagar and was in charge of it himself.

But there was a dispute at the checkpoint after the local administration sent back the Indian nationals saying that they could not enter. Police said that he was arrested during the same dispute.
