59 people examined in Doti, 45 test positive for Coronavirus

Dhangadhi: The PCR machine installed in Doti broke down within a week of its installation. Re-testing has now started after repairing it.

The district hospital issued a press release today and made public the reports of 59 people who were tested. According to Shaurabh Shrestha, in-charge of the hospital's laboratory, 59 people were tested and 45 of them tested positive.  

All the infected are from Doti district. According to Shrestha, 39 people including 24 men and 15 women from Shikhar Municipality, 4 men from KI Singh Rural Municipality and 1 woman and 1 man from Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality reported positive. Tests conducted at the Dadeldhura laboratory today also confirmed the infection in 50 people.
