Coronavirus confirmed in 47 people from Kailali and 57 others from Far-West

Dhangadhi: A test conducted at Dadeldhura Laboratory has confirmed Coronavirus infection in 57 more people in the far-western region. In the last 24 hours, 1,106 people have been tested for corona and 57 have been confirmed infected.

According to Ishwori Prasad Bhushal, laboratory in-charge of Dadeldhura Hospital, the infection has been confirmed in 37 people including 31 from Ghodaghodi Municipality, 8 from Tikapur Municipality, 7 from Gauriganga Municipality and one from Janaki Village.

Similarly, eight people from Bhim Dutta Municipality of Kanchanpur, one person from Mahakali Municipality of Kanchanpur and one person from Nepal Army Battalion of Baitadi tested positive, said Ishwori Prasad Bhushal, laboratory in-charge.

At the same time, the number of corona cases in the Far-West has reached 5,463.
