114 people test positive for Coronavirus in Far-West, including 76 in Kailali

Dhangadhi: An additional 114 people tested positive  for Coronavirus in Far-West on Monday. Tests conducted at Seti Provincial Hospital and Dadeldhura Hospital confirmed the infection in 114 people today. Dilip Kumar Shrestha the information officer of Seti Provincial Hospital, said that 46 people tested positive in the last 24 hours.

According to him, 29 people from Kailali, 18 from Achham, 6 from Doti, two each from Kanchanpur and Bajhang tested positive. Information Officer Shrestha said that 13 people from Dhangadhi of Kailali, 14 people from Tikapur, two people from Mohanyal Rural Municipality, 14 people from Mangalsen of Achham, and three from Sanphebagar also tested positive. Information Officer Shrestha said that the virus has also been confirmed in two people from Doti's Adarsh ​​Rural Municipality, one from Bhim Dutta Municipality of Kanchanpur, one from Beldandi village and two people of Bajhang.

Meanwhile, tests conducted at Dadeldhura laboratory have confirmed the infection in 57 more people. In the last 24 hours, 1,106 people have been tested for Coronavirus and 57 have tested positive.

According to Ishwori Prasad Bhushal, laboratory in-charge of Dadeldhura Hospital, the infection has been confirmed in 37 people including 31 from Ghodaghodi Municipality, 8 from Tikapur Municipality, 7 from Gauriganga Municipality and one from Janaki Village.

Similarly, eight people from Bhim Dutta Municipality of Kanchanpur, one person from Mahakali Municipality of Kanchanpur and one person working in Nepal Army in Baitadi have tested positive, said Bhushal, laboratory in-charge. At the same time, the number of corona infections in the far west has reached 5,510.
