30 additional cases of Coronavirus in Dhangadhi
In Dhangadhi, the number of people infected with Coronavirus has reached 174. According to the Health Branch of the Sub-Metropolitan Corporation, the number of infected people has reached 174 after the virus was detected in 30 more people of Dhangadhi at a laboratory test conducted at the Seti Provincial Hospital on Thursday.
According to Laxmi Raj Upadhyaya, Public Health Inspector at the Health Branch of the Sub-Metropolis, 27 people tested positive on Thursday evening while three others tested positive at night. According to him, one person each from Ward No. 3, 4 and 11, 2 people from Ward No.13, 11 people from Ward No. 12, 5 people from Ward No. 14, 6 people from Ward No. 18 and 3 people from Ward No. 19 have been infected.
Most of those infected are returnees from India. The sub-metropolitan claimed that 132 infected people have been discharged. The sub-municipality has also stated that the search for people who came in contact with the newly infected people has started.
