68 corona infected people discharged from various hospitals in Far-West

Dhangadhi: 68 corona infected people were discharged from various hospitals in Far-West and isolation made at the local level on Thursday.

Narendra Karki, chief of the health division at the state's social development ministry, told a regular press briefing that 68 more people had been discharged after being recovering from Coronavirus. He said that 62 people from Kailali and 6 people from Kanchanpur have been discharged.

At the same time, the number of people returning home free of Coronavirus in the Far-West has reached 4,151. According to the Ministry of Social Development, 1,165 people from Kailali, 667 from Achham, 575 from Doti, 572 from Kanchanpur, 318 from Baitadi and 299 from Dadeldhura have been discharged so far.

Four hundred and thirty-five infected people have been discharged from Bajura, one hundred and seven from Bajhang and 13 from Darchula. According to the Directorate of Health, there are now 649 active cases in the Far-West.

According to the Health Directorate, 34 people are being treated at Tikapur Hospital, 10 at District Hospital Achham, four each at Mahakali and Seti Provincial Hospitals and two each at District Hospital Doti and Malakheti. Other infected are at local level isolation or in home isolation.
