Jewelry stolen from a shop in Kanchanpur

Dhangadhi: Silver jewelery worth 1 lakh has been stolen from a shop in Kanchanpur. Laxman Sunar, the manager of RN Jewelers in Jhalari Bazaar of the district, has lodged a complaint alleging that 70 grams of gold and one lakh worth of silver was stolen from the shop at night.

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Amar Bahadur Thapakshetri said that the thieves broke the door on the roof of the shop and stole the jewelery. He said that the incident was being investigated on the basis of a request given by the shop owner. "We are interrogating the suspects," he said.
