Dhangadhi: There will be a public holiday in the far-western region tomorrow. As per the decision of the Far-Western Provincial Government, a public holiday will be observed on Monday, on the occasion of Rakshabandhan festival.

Information Officer at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law Laxmi Prasad Joshi said that the decision to grant public holiday on Rakshabandhan has already been taken. "Information about the public holiday of 2077 BS has also been published in the state gazette," he said.

According to him, all government offices and public bodies in the state will be given leave to celebrate Rakshabandhan. Offices under the federal government will also be closed.
