Letter by Darchula Administration to India: Kalapani is ours, no one needs permission to go there

Dhangadhi: The Darchula Administration has responded to the correspondence of India to stop the entry of Nepalis in Gunji, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura areas.

The District Administration Office, Darchula, has sent a reply to India stating that Gunji, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura are Nepal's lands and India's permission is not required to go there.

"That area belongs to Nepal. That is Nepali land based on old maps and historical facts. It is natural for Nepalis to visit there and we have sent a letter stating that Nepalis visiting there should not to be obstructed by any element. ” Darchula Chief District Officer Sharad Kumar Pokhrel said.

The Sub-District Officer of Darchula, India had written a letter to the Chief District Officer of Darchula on July 14 to stop the entry of Nepalis in Gunji, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura areas.
