A woman found dead in Kailali: Husband arrested

Dhangadhi: Police have arrested a man during investigating the incident of a young woman who had been missing for three days and was found dead in Kailali.

A 22-year-old married woman Laxmi Saud has been found dead in Godavari Municipality Ward No. 10 of the district. Her husband Om Saud has been arrested by the police.

Gyan Bahadur Bista, Deputy Superintendent of Police of Malakheti, said that the husband of the deceased has been arrested and further investigation is underway.

According to him, the body was found lying in the bush on the bank of a canal. She had been missing since 26 July. The relatives of the deceased have alleged that Laxmi was killed.
