Woman dies after being bitten by a snake in Kanchanpur

Dodhara Chandani: A woman died after being bitten by a snake in Kanchanpur. The deceased has been identified as Nirmala Pant aged 40, of Pashupati Tol in Mahakali Municipality Ward No. 1.

Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Amar Bahadur Thapa Chettri said that Pant died while being taken to Dodhara Chandani Primary Health Center for treatment after being bitten by a snake. According to him, Bhatta was bitten by a snake while extracting straw this morning.

It is understood that the locals killed the snake after the incident, police reported. The body of the deceased has been kept at the primary health center.
