Flooding submerges houses in Joshipur and Ghodaghodi while one collapsed

Dhangadhi: More than a dozen houses have been rendered unliveable in Kailali district due to the floods,

similarly twenty houses in Joshipur village municipality and 21 houses in Ghodaghodi municipality have also affected. Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office in Kailali,

Pratik Bista said that the flood water from the Kada River has reached Joshipur Gaonpalika Ward No. 1 Rajipur and Ward No. 3 Tol.

According to him, 20 houses in both the wards have been flooded in more than two feet of water.

Bista informed Dinesh Khabar that the house of Hiralal Chaudhary of Ward No. 3 had collapsed and Laxmi Neupane's house in Ghodaghodi Municipality Ward No. 2 Tanakpur has been completely submerged.
