Mayor Manju Malasi flies to Kathmandu for treatment

Today, Manju Malasi, mayor of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality, was taken to Kathmandu for treatment. According to Rabindra Joshi, mayor's personal secretary, she was taken to Kathmandu by a Nepal Army Skytruck as her health was failing.

Before her ailment, she was dedicated to arranging quarantine facilities for returnees. But a few weeks back, she was stricken with respiratory problems.

Thereafter, she was taken to Dhangadhi for treatment. The doctor recommended her to rest at home. The mayor was also prescribed medication for blood pressure.
